progression on the participation of women voters on campus

for those of you who dont know, chris, megan, and i are doing a political based project for our group project. we basically are trying to influence all the young women on campus to have a voice and participate in November's presidential election. By educating these women on the suffering and sacrifice that the women in our past have endured, we figured that it would lay on their hearts to not let their hard work go in vain and to take advantage of the opportunity that they are presented with that was not always available.
So far we have done two events. The first was handing out flyers in front of the cafeteria during lunch that encouraged women to vote and to also tell them about our voter rally that we would have the next week. The following week, Chris, Megan, and I set up an "information booth" outside of the cafeteria during lunch on Thursday. Everyone knows Thursdays is fried chicken day so there were plenty of people walking by. As we informed females that walked by about the suffrage movement, we also handed them a flyer that showed the platforms on both presidential candidates, so they could be informed when they actually went to vote. My group and i have made great progress so far and we are excited to see how many women on campus actually voted after the election
