FIRE!!

WE HAD SO MUCH FUN LAST NIGHT!!! Our self defense class was a huge success last night. All our hard work really paid off and we all learned some great techniques to defend ourselves in the event of an attack. It was so great to see women of all ages - college students, women from the community, young girls, and even faculty - all together for our project. It was not even about this being a project for class. It was about empowering women and giving back to a community that has invested so much in the lives of its citizens.

Robert Littlejohn was not only knowledgeable, he was funny and kept the crowd laughing as we learned self defense techniques. We all had the opportunity to do some hands-on moves and learned how really basic items we all have with us everyday can save our lives.

We are so excited and cannot wait to share some of the things we learned with our class.
