As Michelle has already informed you, we met with some opposition to our plans in the form of the management staff of the school's dining hall. In response to this, we have decided to go to Josh Curtin for help and get one the tables outside of the dining hall in order to get as many comment sheets as possible filled out. Technically, the dining hall has no influence on the hall outside of its doors, so they cannot stop us this time. We will also probably be walking around campus with surveys and comment sheets in order to get as large a sample group as possible. If you see us around campus and have not yet filled out a comment sheet or survey, please feel free to come get one!
As we are doing this project, I am learning that people are aware that there is a problem, that they realize the media is essentially skewing reality in order to sell products, but no one seems to want to do anything to change it. This saddens me somewhat, but it also makes me want to work that much harder to get people fired up and angry about this abuse of power.
