Wow, this project has turned out to be a wonderful experience. So far I have learned a lot about body image, and was able to connect with my classmates. I feel like I have a better understanding of body image than I did when I started this project. I also feel as if my own view of myself has changed. Now, when I look into the mirror I try not to pick out flaws and just focus on the positive. I realise that the media is the one influencing me to judge my appearance. Also, I meet some really cool people during the process of the project. Normally I would of just gone to class and then go back to my dorm room. Because of this project I was able to connect with my classmates.
Hopeful our group's presentation of the P.S.A was able to impact others. I feel as if my own friends were impacted in a positive way, because we had an interesting discussion about body image after the premier of the video. I just hope more people were able to take away a new outlook after watching the video.
Although I am nervous I am also excited about the presentation to the class. This was such a fun experience I want to be able to share with others the fun our group had.
