Self Defense Project

Today, Tuesday 11-11-2008, we covered campus with flyers. We posted flyers in the English, History, Fine Arts, Library, Education, Fin Aid, Campus Safety, Student Support, Education, Nursing, Jackson Hall, Science/Math, and the Nursing buildings. (that's the order we went, lol)

Thursday we're planning on covering the SSC with flyers, and also reaching out to the community.

---- But I really would like to take a moment out and say that our group as expected multiple problems with actually getting our location on campus. I've got email after email of me being as polite as I could, only to be shot down by someone in power. I really would like to hear how everyone else is going with securing locations, putting flyers up, getting the word out.... has anyone else had these kinds of problems? If so, I really think that we should make the school aware of our problems, and how administration needs to realize this is a college - and that students would like to hold events without being in school related organizations. Is there anyway that we could collectively come together and write a paper to send to the school president?
