Ok so this will be my first post since we've had the Health seminar and yard sale. So the seminar went great! I'm not really going to tell to much about it because all the great details will be in our presentation and i don't want to spoil it. So yeah the yard sale is another story, it was raining the day we had it...didn't go to well. We had great speakers at the seminar, two very experienced nurses and the founder of the local Pink Pals group. I will admit i learnt alot at the seminar, somethings were very useful too i also picked up alot of reading material. I was a little disapointed to not see anyone from class or Dr. K but i can understand it was a saturday and it was early in the morning :P My mom didn't even show up! On campus I've seen alot of flyers for the other events, i'm not sure but maybe if we had, had our seminar on a later date more people would have came but oh well. After the seminar it made me want to take a step toward better health, i even donated money to a health organization. I'm really not sure what else to say...
I will say though that since after this experience i have became more aware of health and will go to the doctor regularly, even though i seriously don't like doctors.
I hope everyone's projects are going great and are a big hit i can't wait for presentation day!
I will definately blog more i need more ideas though also more people need to blog i want to comment on some. :) -----Amneh Elyaman
