EVENTS!

I would like to invite everyone to our movie night on November 18th at 7:30 pm in Oaks II on the third floor.  We will be showing "A League of their Own" starring Tom Hanks, Rosie O'Donnell, and Madonna. We hope that you will come out and join us in comfortable clothing as we watch the girls take on the sport of baseball! We will also be showing some posters featuring the good and bad ways that women are portrayed in the media today. Our project is the Love Your Body Campaign, and we hope to show everyone that you should love yourself for who you are. Snacks and drinks will be provided. 

We will also have a comment box located in the university dining hall as of this upcoming week. We would love it if you would fill out one of our slips about the food. We are surveying through this comment box how healthy students feel the food is. If you do not think it is healthy we would like to know why. All comments are anonymous and will be turned into the dining hall for consideration at the end of our project. 

The last portion to our project is a survey that our group members will be walking around with. We want to poll the campus to see how students right here at Georgia Southwestern perceive their peers body images. We would like to present our results to the students during our movie night. If you see one of our group members(Michelle Morton, Joe Barron, or Samantha Cason) please fill out a survey and receive your gold ribbon. We want all of our participants and their friends to know that we think they are "golden" just being themselves.
